| Blended Spices > Chana Masala

Ingredients:
Coriander, Chilli , Dry Mango, Cumin, Black Pepper, Tej,
Tej Patta, Big Cardamom, Black Salt, Common Salt, Clove,
Triffla. |

RECIPE:
Heat 4 tbsp oil on a pan. Add 1 tsp
of cumin seed and 1 ½ cup finely chopped onion.
Saute till the onion turns Translucent. Now ad 2 tsp
ginger garlic paste and sauté on a low flame
till the onion turns golden brown. It is time now to
add 2 tbsp Kass Channa Masala, 1 ½ cup tomato
puree, ¼ tbsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp cumin
seed , ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tbsp dry
mango powder and 1 green chilly finely chopped. Add
stir for a few minutes till the water evaporates. Add
half a cup of water and 200 gram chick peas (Kala Channa
)
To the pan. Simmer on a low heat for 10 -15 minutes
strring continuously. Garnish with small onion ring
, slice of tomato, and wedge of lemon. Serve with Indian
rotis or Indian breads.
